COLLEGE OF HEALTH AND HUMAN PERFORMANCE COMPUTER LABS
The computer labs provide multimedia and computer resources and services to students, employees, and faculty.
The 192 and 193 computer labs are equipped primarily with PCs and include an open lab area and a computer classroom. The 249N PC lab offers a laminator, copier, paper cutter, scanners and other supplies for resource production, in addition to technology resources, such as cameras, which are available for checkout. The 249M lab is designated as a mac video and sound editing classroom. All of the computer labs are located on the first and second floor of the Smith Field House.
Lab Policies
Payments for printing or supplies must be made by Signature card only (NO Cash/Credit or Check). To add money on your card, go online to route Y or go to 112 of the RB. No food or drink is permitted in any of the labs. Thank you.
192 SFH Computer Lab
Description
This lab is available for student use during all lab hours, but it cannot be reserved for class use. A knowledgeable lab assistant is available during lab hours to offer both training and assistance with computer and software usage.
Hours
- Fall/Winter: Monday - Friday 7 AM - 10 PM; Saturdays 9 AM - 2 PM
- Spring/Summer: Monday - Friday 8 AM - 8 PM

- 31 PCs with Microsoft Office 2007, Dartfish, Audacity, Scanning, and Photoshop Elements.
- 2 Macs with Microsoft Office 2008, Studiocode, Photoshop Elements, Audacity, Logic, iLife, Final Cut Express, Services, CD burning, and Scanning.

193 SFH Computer Classroom
Description
This classroom can be reserved for class-use through the HHPS scheduling secretary. When not being used for a class, this room is used for 192 computer lab overflow. Access to this room is only available through an entrance inside of the 192 computer lab.
Hours
- Fall/Winter: Monday - Friday 7 AM - 10 PM; Saturdays 9 AM - 2 PM
- Spring/Summer: Monday - Friday 8 AM - 8 PM
Programs and Services
- 24 PCs with Microsoft Office 2007, Dartfish, Audacity, Scanning, Photoshop Elements, and SPSS 14.0.1 Statistical Software.
- Services also include a projector and CD buring capabilities.
The 249N SFH Learning Teaching and Technology Media Lab
Description
This is a workroom dedicated to the creation and replication of visual teaching aids. It is an open lab for faculty and students that cannot be scheduled for a class, except for orientation purposes. Equipment such as digital cameras and mics can be checked out by students and faculty for appropriate classes. Materials for projects are also available for students to purchase.

- Fall/Winter: Monday - Friday 7:30 AM - 5 PM
- Spring: Monday - Friday 8 AM - 2 PM
- Summer: Not open (go to 192 SFH Computer lab for help).
- The same software and equipment can be accessed in the 192 SFH lab if hours don’t meet your needs.

- 6 PCs with Microsoft Office 2007, Dartfish, Audacity, Scanning, Photoshop Elements, Printshop, Printmaster, and SPSS 14.0.1 Statistical Software.
- Services also include scanning, lamination, printing, paper cutting, digital cameras, tripods, and wireless micraphones.

249M SFH Learning Teaching and Technology Lab
Description
The primary use of this computer lab is for the improvement of teaching, learning and research in the College of Health and Human Performance. The facility is open to students and faculty alike for teaching analysis, preparation of teaching materials, graduate pedagogical projects and research and faculty research. This room can be reserved for classes, but is also available for student use when classes are not scheduled. A knowledgeable lab assistant is available during all lab hours to either train or assist students with computer and software.

- Spring: Monday - Friday 8 AM - 2 PM
